VBT enhances security for homes and small-to-medium businesses by providing security surveillance and wireless radio communication equipment, industrial networking products, and telecommunication services.


We are looking for a Full-time Office Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to staff, fielding requests for transportation from community members, and assisting with office needs. Administrative Assistant responsibilities include preparing reports, entering data and maintaining filing systems. The ideal candidate should have excellent customer service skills, be able to organize their work using tools, like MS Excel and office equipment.



  • Organize and schedule rides/appointments
  • Attend Phone Calls
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Enter data into systems
  • Develop and maintain a filing system
  • Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
  • Maintain contact lists
  • Correspond with volunteers and riders
  • Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients


  • Proven admin/clerical experience
  • Comfortable working with older adults
  • Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
  • Experience with MS Office
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
