Outside Sales Representative
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to develop commercial accounts, conduct on-site consultations, present tailored security solutions, and close multi-system projects throughout the Chicago metro area.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new commercial accounts through networking and field prospecting.
- Conduct on-site security assessments and client consultations.
- Present CCTV, access control, fire alarm, structured cabling, and IoT solutions.
- Create proposals, pricing packages, and project recommendations.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to installation handoff.
- Maintain accurate pipeline and CRM reporting.
- Represent VBTRONICS at trade shows and networking events.
- Build relationships with contractors, developers, and facility managers.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 3+ years of outside B2B sales experience.
- Strong consultative and solution-based selling skills.
- Experience with security, AV, IT, or low-voltage systems preferred.
- Excellent presentation and negotiation abilities.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout Chicago.
